Anna Sergeyevna Koournikova (born in Russia) is an American-born former tennis prodigy and television presenter. The combination of her celebrity and style made her one of the most well-known tennis players in the world. Anna Kournikova was a tennis pro in Russia for a long time. At one time she was regarded as to be the best female tennis star. Kournikova was an averagely skilled singles player, but was a wildly successful doubles player and her team together with Martina Hingis was widely praised for its effectiveness.
